Choose the location to save the PDF, provide an output filename, and select the Save As Type option, as shown highlighted in red within Figure 1, above. You can do this on the Mac by first going to PowerPoint’s Preferences. In the resultant pop-up menu, choose PDF as the file type, as shown highlighted in green within Figure 2, below. Click the Options button, as shown highlighted in blue within Figure 1, previously on this page, to bring up the Options dialog box, as shown in Figure 3, below.Do note that options in this dialog box do not pertain specifically to PDFs only, and thus this dialog box is of limited value. Now, click the Save button, as shown highlighted in orange within Figure 1, previously on this page.Ĭlick the OK button to apply the changes made here and to get back to the Save As dialog box.PowerPoint will now publish your presentation as a PDF.
